There should be no more hiding behind catchy words and phrases or piggybacking on short-lived trends.
Enough is enough. What we need is a systemic change in the culture of employment in boardrooms.
We must ensure that there is quality, diversity and opportunity in sport.
Our vision is a world without discrimination on the basis of race, colour, gender, nationality, ethnicity, disability, religion and sexuality. We believe that sport belongs to all stakeholders regardless of these attributes.
It should be the right of stakeholders to participate in, to watch and discuss feelings freely about sports without fear of any form of discrimination.
We recognise that there is a lot to do to achieve our vision but that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Our interest and knowledge is within the world of sport and our mission is therefore within this arena.
Our mission therefore is to achieve an outcome whereby all professional and elite sporting clubs, teams, competitions and organising bodies in the UK are fully representative of the communities they serve.
