Around the UK, we understand discrimination takes place often and has almost become expected at some sports games. A survey by YouGov found that out of 1,000 participants, 39% stated that they had witnessed an act of discrimination within the last year. 14% had witnessed an incident in the last week alone.
These numbers are not acceptable, and Stand for Change are committed to bring these numbers all the way down. To do this, we've set up a reporting system, in which people who have witnessed cases of discrimination at sports games or indeed anywhere else can voice themselves and not let these events slip away unnoticed.
